Groundnut Oil

Groundnut oil is aromatic. It is derived from Peanuts. It is used in cooking as well as in the production of soap. It is basically a native from South America. Groundnut is particularly important for its protein granules which are  considered to be one of the best nourishing foods of the world.  Groundnut oil is vastly used in Chinese and Indian recipes.


Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is uniquely different from most other dietary oils and for this reason, has found use in a multitude of applications in food, medicine, and industry. What makes coconut oil different from most other dietary oils is the basic building blocks or fatty acids making up the oil.

Because coconut oil has a high amount of saturated fatty acids it also has a relatively high melting point. Above 76° F (24° C) coconut oil is a colorless liquid. Below this temperature it solidifies into a pure white solid.

Coconut oil is very heat stable so it makes an excellent cooking and frying oil. It has a smoke point of about 360° F (180° C). Because of its stability it is slow to oxidize and thus resistant to rancidity, lasting up to two years due to high saturated fat content.

 

 

 


Romea Cake Margarine

Romea Cake Margarine is a quality product from the Unigra stable of excellence, this margarine is available in 12.5Kg units (63 per pallet) and is designed to meet and exceed the requirements of Irish customers.

Ideal for using in the planetary mixer for leavened and unleavened mixes: shortbread, dry biscuits and birthday cakes etc.  It is the ideal substitute for butter in all non puff pastry baked products.

 

 

VANA-GRASA

Description: Range of spray-dried fat powders with fat levels up to 80% and a choice of animal or vegetable fats of different origin.

Applications: Applicable as fat source, for example in bread products, bakery mixes, ice cream or in soups and sauces. It can also be used as milk fat replacer in dairy products.


Packaging: Multiwall paper sacks with a food grade inner liner. Net weight = 25 kg.
